Long-Distance Loc Restoration Policy

This policy applies to clients traveling from outside the local area for loc or wick restoration services.

1. Assessment & Time Estimates
Restoration work is complex and may change once locs are physically examined. Time estimates are best estimates, not guarantees. If more work is required than anticipated, services may need to be completed over multiple sessions.

2. Deposits & Scheduling

•A non‑refundable deposit is required to secure all long‑distance appointments.

•Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit is received.

•Remaining balances are due at the time of service unless otherwise discussed.

3. Missed or Rescheduled Appointments

•Missed appointments or same‑day cancellations require a missed appointment fee.
•Weather, transportation, or personal issues do not automatically waive this fee.

Repeated reschedules without consistent communication may result in services being paused.


4. Multi‑Session Restorations

•If restoration cannot be completed in one session:
•A follow‑up appointment will be scheduled based on availability.
•A deposit is required to hold each additional date.

Clients are responsible for returning within the agreed timeframe.

5. Loc Storage & Repairs
•Locs left with me for repair will be kept safe and secure.

•Completed repairs must be reattached within a reasonable timeframe.

•Extended storage beyond the agreed period may require a storage or handling fee.

6. Communication Expectations

Clear and timely communication is required.

Clients must confirm appointments and arrival times.
**Failure to respond or confirm may result in appointment cancellation.

7. Right to Pause Services

I reserve the right to pause or discontinue services if communication, payment, or scheduling expectations are not met.

This policy exists to protect both the client’s hair and my time as a professional loctician. By booking, clients acknowledge and agree to these terms.
